Hey there, my name is Rachel.
I’m a mum, registered horticulturist and I love plants.
Plants are my strongest tool for balancing stress and anxiety – my horticultural therapy.
Horticultural therapy is a process in which plants and horticultural activities are used to improve the body, mind and spirit of people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
Horticultural Therapy involves gardens and garden based activities that are designed to support the physical, mental and social health of individuals. Studies show that gardening is a valuable way to improve and maintain physical and mental health, bring communities together and aid rehabilitation.
